Mid Lancs - Final X-Country race at Barrow
Fantastic News - our Ladies are CHAMPIONS AGAIN !!
A stunning performance from Sarah (1st) Nicola (13th) and Gretel (14th), we beat the Div 2 leaders Chorley H, and we were first team home beating all the Div 1 teams as well !
Also Sarah won the Ladies race and has captured the Lady Champion Award, What a really exciting day ! Congratulations to our entire ARR Lady X-Country team squad. The Trophies will be presented later this month in Bamber Bridge. We have Graham to thank again for his meticulous arrangements throughout the series.

Hello Everyone,
Glen and I are very pleased to announce that Baby Sophie arrived last night at 5.13pm, weighing in at 6lb 8oz (the rest of my pregnancy weight being Carole's excellent post race cakes). I'm not setting any come-back goals at this point, but I hope to see you all soon, whether I am running or still spectating.

Info from Anna Lupton if anyone is interested in running for GM Fell Team.
'I am getting a female Greater Manchester team together for the Inter County Fell Running Championships 2010. The Championships will be held at the Lletty Fell Race (Llangynhafal, near Denbigh in North Wales) on Saturday 22 May 2010 (9 miles). To be eligible to run for Greater Manchester, runners must either have been born in or lived in Greater Manchester for 9 months (i.e. Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan, Manchester or Salford). They must not have competed for a county other than GM or in another county's champs in the last 12 months.
If any of your female members are interested, please ask them to respond directly to me. (Any men who are keen to run should contact the men's team manager Andi Jones of Salford Harriers.)
